Bioidentical Hormone Pellet Therapy

Passionate About Hormone Optimization

Optimizing your hormones is key to reclaiming vitality and enhancing overall well-being. At Pinch Aesthetics, our women’s health specialists, Crystal Yeater APRN, FNP-BC and Angela Carr APRN, FNP-BC, carefully assess your hormone levels to detect imbalances or deficiencies. We then create a customized treatment plan to replenish and balance your hormones, helping you feel your best.

The First Step
For women entering menopause or peri-menopause, symptoms such as hot flashes, vaginal dryness, weight gain, brain fog, and thinning skin can be common. Similarly, men over 40 may notice reduced energy levels, decreased muscle mass, lower libido, and disrupted sleep.

Pinch Aesthetics recommends hormone testing whenever you experience symptoms of hormonal imbalance or depletion. With a simple blood test, we can effectively evaluate your sex hormones and thyroid function.

Discover the Benefits of BHRT

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)
BHRT uses hormones identical on a molecular level to those naturally produced in your body. These non-synthetic, vegan-friendly hormones are bio-engineered by our trusted compounding pharmacy, making them safer and minimizing side effects compared to synthetic alternatives. BHRT offers an ideal solution for managing hormone-related symptoms naturally and effectively.

Testosterone for Women & Men
Testosterone plays a critical role in maintaining libido, energy, and muscle health for both men and women. Men primarily produce testosterone in the testicles, while women produce it in the ovaries—both supplemented by adrenal glands. Natural testosterone pellets can help reduce common side effects like acne, facial hair, and hair loss. In men, excess testosterone conversion to estrogen may require Anastrozole to maintain optimal hormone balance.

Common Signs of Hormone Deficiency:

  • Loss of mental clarity
  • Reduced muscle mass and strength
  • Persistent joint pain
  • Fatigue
  • Poor exercise recovery
  • Decreased libido
  • Increased menopausal symptoms
  • Anxiety and irritability
  • Unwanted weight gain

Estrogen

Estrogen is essential for women’s vitality, enhancing skin radiance, improving mood, lubricating vaginal tissues, maintaining breast fullness, and protecting bones against osteoporosis.

Signs of Estrogen Deficiency:

  • Mental fog
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Hot flashes and night sweats
  • Dryness of skin, eyes, and vagina
  • Reduced sexual desire
  • Joint pain

Progesterone

Progesterone balances estrogen and contributes significantly to women’s overall wellness. Low progesterone can cause sleep issues, anxiety, bloating, weight gain, and loss of libido. It is especially crucial for protecting the uterus against unopposed estrogen, reducing the risk of uterine cancer.

Benefits of Progesterone Include:

  • Reduces water retention and bloating
  • Calms anxiety and mood swings
  • Enhances sleep quality
  • Supports fat metabolism
  • Reduces cravings for sweets and carbs
  • Relieves breast tenderness
  • Improves cholesterol levels
  • Regulates blood sugar

Feel like yourself again with Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy—a personalized approach to rebalancing your hormones and reclaiming your vitality. At Pinch Aesthetics, we use BioTE® pellet therapy, a plant-based formulation that closely matches your body’s natural hormones. This treatment can help alleviate symptoms of hormonal imbalance such as fatigue, weight gain, mood swings, low libido, brain fog, hot flashes, and more.

Each pellet is custom-compounded and inserted just beneath the skin, where it consistently releases the right amount of hormones your body needs over several months—no daily pills, patches, or creams required. Before beginning therapy, a comprehensive lab panel and consultation are performed to ensure safety and optimal outcomes. BHRT is available for both men and women and is tailored to your unique needs with ongoing monitoring and support from our experienced providers.

*In order to determine if you are a candidate for bio-identical testosterone and/or estradiol pellets, we need laboratory results and a completed medical history form. We will evaluate your information to determine if BioTE Medical® can help you live a healthier, more robust life. If for some reason you are not a candidate for BioTe therapy our providers can discuss alternative therapies with you.

Patients must meet certain medical criteria before beginning hormone replacement pellet therapy to ensure their safety and effectiveness. A recent cancer diagnosis may impact eligibility, as any form of cancer diagnosed within the past 24 months requires either proof of being cancer-free for two years or a medical clearance letter from an oncologist confirming it is safe to proceed with treatment. Similarly, patients who have experienced a recent cardiovascular event, such as a heart attack, stroke, pulmonary embolism, or major cardiac or neurological surgery within the past 24 months, may not be eligible for therapy.

Pregnancy is also a contraindication for hormone replacement pellettherapy, and patients who are currently breastfeeding may not qualify, though this can be discussed with a BioTe provider. For male patients, an elevated PSA (prostate-specific antigen) result of 2.5 or greater requires evaluation by a urologist, and medical clearance must be obtained before starting therapy. Lastly, individuals with a history of seizures, epilepsy, or a seizure within the past 24 months may not be suitable candidates for hormone pellet therapy.
