Starting in your 20s, your body gradually begins to lose collagen. By the time you reach 40, you may lose about 1% of your collagen each year, leading to volume loss and visible signs of aging. Dermal fillers help counteract this process by restoring lost volume, smoothing fine lines, and enhancing facial fullness. They are especially beneficial for softening lines around the nose and mouth (such as marionette lines, smile lines, and parentheses), adding volume to sunken cheeks and temples, diminishing vertical lip lines, plumping and enhancing the lips, smoothing out a chin crease, improving facial symmetry, and contouring the chin, jawline, and cheekbones.
At Pinch Aesthetics, we use FDA-approved dermal fillers to help our patients achieve their aesthetic goals. Fillers are categorized based on their ingredients, and during your consultation, our experienced Nurse Injector will assess your areas of concern and recommend the best option for your desired outcome.
One of the most commonly used filler types is Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in the body that helps keep the skin hydrated and plump. HA fillers are soft, gel-like substances that provide natural-looking volume and hydration. Most HA fillers contain lidocaine, which helps numb the area for a more comfortable injection experience

Most patients only need 1/2 syringe of lip filler to achieve desired results. Some patients desire additional volume or adjustments after their initial treatment and are welcome to receive an additional half or whole syringe once the swelling and bruising have subsided (typically 7-10 days).
